PHP Developer

As a PHP Developer at Beautiful Company Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our backend systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. Your expertise in PHP programming and backend development principles will be pivotal in enhancing our digital offerings and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable PHP code for the backend of web applications.
Implement and manage databases, create and optimize database schemas, and write efficient SQL or NoSQL queries.
Integration of Frontend and Backend: Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between the server and the frontend, maintaining data integrity and application performance.
Utilize PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter to streamline development processes and enhance application security.
API Development: Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable communication between different systems and services.
Implement and maintain security measures, safeguarding against common web application vulnerabilities.
Identify and address technical issues, conduct debugging, and ensure the overall performance and reliability of web applications.
Work in coordination with the team, including frontend developers, designers, and other stakeholders, to ensure a smooth development process and optimal user experience.
Use version control systems such as Git, and maintain technical documentation related to backend development processes and applications.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
Proven work experience as a PHP Backend Developer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in PHP programming and its various frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, and CodeIgniter.
Experience with database management like SQL, NoSQL and optimization.
Knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure seamless communication between the backend and frontend developers.
Experience with cloud computing and container-based distributed systems (Docker)
Familiarity with API development and integration.
Understanding of security best practices for web development.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in web development.
Good experience with Microservice architecture and SOA-based design is a must
Very Strong understanding of APIs and web services like REST and SOAP
Keep current with industry trends and best practices in web development, cloud hosting, SAAS services, and add-on services.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory but Beneficial):

Experience in cloud services and server-side configurations.
Knowledge of web servers such as Apache or Nginx.
Prior exposure to mobile application development.
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes.
